The close loop control process
This software is designed to be controlled from a PLC to facilitate direct use in industry
External driving is made with either :
a) a point-to-point connection, the inputs and outputs of every PLC are addressed on an interface connected to the simulation PC via a serial connection ;
b) serial connection with the Siemens SIMATIC S7, Schneider Electric and PhoenixContact ;
c) an hardware liaison with Siemens PLCSim or Schneider Electric PLCsim ( only on Unity).
Connectivity with the programmable automata and other peripherals is ensured via the serial connection,no additional modules are required.
This connectivity allows ProcesSim can easily exchange data with an unspecified programmable automaton or with any other peripheral using an OPC server.
No need to install an OPC server, or a driver..., all you need to do is to establish the correspondence of the addresses to transform ProcesSim into a versatile inputs and outputs simulator, or into a software drive.
