Motors and frequency variator

Using the contextual menu “Virtual Mechanism – Actuators – Motors and speed variators”, you can utilize one or more motors equipped with a frequency variator.
The number of frequency variators is limited by the number of analog words which are used (50 lw and 50 Qw).
The frequency variator’s behaviour is configured from the window displayed above.
Positioning the motor on the work area, is made by “Drag and Drop” by keeping the Shift key pressed.

On the figure shown above:
Qw2 : represents the acceleration set point value , i.e. a value proportional at the time of the speed evolves from 0 to 50 Hertz , an integer value between 1 and 100
Qw1 : represents the speed set point value comprised between -100 % to +100% of the nominal speed.
Iw1 : returns the real rotation speed expressed in %. A negative speed is equivalent to a CCW rotation
Iw2 : A status word with which the meaning of its bits given on the picture shown above
Q1 : a driving relay which deactivates the braking resistor connected to a NC contact of the relay
The operation of the variator is conditioned to the electrical interlocking of this relay
Except the animation simulating the rotation of the motor shaft, according to the activation and the rotation sense, the color vary in same manner as for an electrical motor (see electrical motors) :
Braking asked CW rotation CCW rotation

These motors can be associated with a conveyor belt or with a linear positioner.
