Our Institute of Higher Education of the French-speaking community (Haute École en Hainaut also known as HEH.be) is a university college located in Mons and in Tournai, Belgium.

Created in 1996, HEH.be gathers more than 3000 students following one of our thirty-one Bachelor and Master training courses divided into four education categories. HEH.be therefore consists of the following four departments:

• Department of Legal, Economic and Management Sciences (BAs);
• Department of Social Sciences (BAs and MAs);
• Department of Learning Sciences and Teaching (BAs and MAs);
• Department of Sciences and Technologies (BAs and MAs).

DEPARTMENT OF LEGAL, ECONOMIC AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES:

This department offers three BAs:

• BA in Management Assistant
• BA in Law 
• BA in Tourism and Leisure Management

DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SCIENCES:

This department offers two BAs and one MA:

BAs in: 

• Social Worker
• Social Advisor

MA in:

• MA in Social Engineering and Action (MIAS)
• (Staggered hours training) MA in Social Transitions and Innovations (METIS) 

DEPARTMENT OF LEARNING SCIENCES AND TEACHING:

This department offers Master degrees for students who would like to teach in pre-primary, primary and secondary schools:

• MA in Teaching Section 1 (previously Early Childhood - Pre-primary School Teacher)
• MA in Teaching Section 2 (previously  Primary School Teacher)
• MA in Teaching Section 3 (previously Certified Training Degree for Lower Secondary Education)

- MA in Germanic Languages: English and Dutch
- MA in French - French, French as a Foreign Language and French as a language of learning
- MA in French with Cultural and Arts Education
- MA in French, Philosophy and Citizenship

- MA in French and Moral Education

- MA in Mathematics and Digital Training

Willing to opening up at an international level, HEH.be has signed the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) and offers its students training and academic mobility opportunities via the Erasmus+ programme. Mobility grants are also available to students outside European borders thanks to the FAME programme (“Fonds d’Aide à la Mobilité Étudiante”, that is, aid funds for student mobility).
